Tours For Early Bird Junior Blues - Ipswich Town News

Town are offering behind-the-scenes tours of Portman Road as part of the package for new and existing Junior Blues members renewing or joining before the early bird deadline of Friday 12th April.

The tour will see eligible Junior Blues visit the both the home and away dressing rooms, the dugouts, the media suite, the boardroom and the directors’ box.

The date of the tour is yet to be confirmed. All members that renew or join before the early bird deadline will be contacted, but the offer is only applies to Junior Blues and Junior Blues Plus members, but not Town Toddlers.

Junior Blues is for all young supporters aged 5-15 with memberships running from August to July. It costs £7.50 for those who are also season ticket holders for the 2013/14 season for a package worth £22. Non-season ticket holders can join for £15.

Junior Blues Plus has the same benefits as a standard package but with a free shirt and double the vouchers.

Costing £35 for those who are 2013/14 season ticket holders (or £45 for those that aren't), it’s a package worth more than £63.99. Further details on the club site here.

Town comprehensively ended their wait for an away victory, George Hirst and Marcelino Nunez each scoring twice as the Blues beat QPR 4-1 at Loftus Road. Hirst nodded Town in front after only 68 seconds from a Sindre Walle Egeli cross, before the home side levelled through Rumarn Burrell on 21. Sixty-eight seconds after the restart, Nunez smashed home a brilliant free-kick, his first goal for the club, then Hirst headed his second in the 57th minute, before the Chilean scored his second free-kick of the afternoon on 64 as Town claimed their first win on the road since April.
