Worries Ahead of Sunday - Ipswich Town News
Town have a number of worries ahead of Sunday's game with Newcastle. Alun Armstrong, is still doubtful with his hamstring problem while Jim Magilton (thigh), Chris Makin (knee) and Richard Naylor (ankle) will all be re-assessed.
Martijn Reuser is still out with his back injury while Ulrich Le Pen is not ready after his ankle injury against Bolton. Marcus Stewart will return in early January. On the plus side Marcus Bent is available after missing out at the San Siro as he was ineligible.
For Newcastle Kieron Dyer is expected to play some part and is hoping for a good reception from his old fans: "I won't know until Sunday if I will be involved but I certainly hope so. I miss Ipswich, it is a very special place for me and I still go home a lot. This will be my first time back at Portman Road as a player and I hope I will get a good reaction from the Ipswich Town supporters, we will have to see."
