Away Draw for Town - Ipswich Town News
Town have drawn either Exeter City or Dagenham and Redbridge away from home in the third round of the FA Cup. The two sides drew at St James' Park yesterday and meet again at Victoria Park, Dagenham.
Town played Exeter in the Worthington Cup in 1998, drawing 1-1 away and winning 5-1 at Portman Road, Paul Mason scoring the fifth on his last ever appearance for the club.
Dagenham and Redbridge's squad includes Town old boy Mark Brennan, although he usually seems to be injured.
Today saw former Town striker Neil Gregory continue his FA Cup scoring run, getting the winner as Canvey Island beat Northampton 1-0.
