McCarthy Praise for Consistent Evans - Ipswich Town News
Blues boss Mick McCarthy has praised owner Marcus Evans for his consistency during Town’s climb away from relegation danger since the former Ireland manager took over at Portman Road in November.
The Town boss says the two talk often: "I speak to him regularly. Marcus has been exactly the same from day one to today. He has never changed.
"His demeanour towards me, win, lose or draw, to the position that we are in the league - don’t get me wrong, he’s pleased and happy — [hasn’t changed] and that’s been lovely to deal with.
"Not up one minute, lose, down the next. He’s fantastic. He’s got a great personality for it, a great demeanour for it, I think.”
