Banner Ideas Wanted - Ipswich Town News
TWTD Message Boarder Textbackup is looking for ideas for a banner he is planning to have produced in time for it to be unfurled at Portman Road at the start of next season.
He explained that the idea came about through discussions on the TWTD forum: "It just seemed like a good idea with the general feeling at the club seeming a lot more positive than it has in the last 10 years.
"I suppose it came about with many TWTD posters talking about turning Portman Road into a fortress, showing off our proud history and hoping to one day be back in the Premier League.
"The ideas mentioned so far are all in relation to the two great managers, 1962, 78 or 81, Town being the pride of Anglia or TWTD, but people can suggest pretty much anything, ex-player-related or whatever.”
The plan is that the best ideas are mocked up and put to the vote with TWTD posters sharing the cost of having the final banner produced.
If you’ve an idea, post in the comments below or on the related thread on the Message Board.
