N'Daw Bail Request Rejected - Ipswich Town News
Loan midfielder Guirane N’Daw had a request to have his bail terms changed so he can travel abroad to look for a new club rejected by a district judge yesterday. The 29-year-old, who recently pleaded not guilty to a charge of assault ABH, is out of contract with parent club St Etienne this summer with his time at Portman Road up at the end of June.
N’Daw, whose St Etienne contract is worth £18,000 a week with the Blues paying £8,000 of that during his loan, requested that bail conditions requiring him to surrender his passport and French ID card should be relaxed in order that he is able to look for a new club during the close season.
However, District Judge Dawson felt there was little need for the Senegalese international, who appeared at the hearing, to travel to find himself a new club: "His playing ability can be put to potential new employers from observing video footage. He has an agent working his behalf.”
N'Daw looks set to play his final game for the Blues at Burnley on Saturday.
