Target Skuse Exits Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Bristol City have confirmed that Town target Cole Skuse is leaving Ashton Gate this summer. The Blues are believed to have agreed a three-year deal with the 27-year-old.
The relegated Robins also announced the exit of former Blues striker Jon Stead in a statement on their website: "Whilst the club would like to keep hold of Jon Stead and Cole Skuse, they will both depart Ashton Gate this summer.
"Stead is aiming for a move back up north, while Skuse is likely to secure a deal in the Championship.”
Director of football Keith Burt says his club understand why Skuse, who has also been linked with Crystal Palace, has decided to move on: "With Cole, he’s been an exemplary servant for this football club and we fully understand his reasons for moving on at this time in his career.”
Skuse’s terms at Bristol City are officially up on June 30th at which point he will be able to formally put pen to paper elsewhere.
