St Johnstone Midfielder Linked - Ipswich Town News
St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson is on the Blues’ radar, according to a report in the Scottish press. Rumours that the 25-year-old, who is out of contract this summer, could be a Town target have been circulating online for the last week, although the claims appeared to originate from not overly convincing sources.
Edinburgh-born Davidson started his senior career with Livingston where he made his senior debut in March 2008 when he achieved the notable feat of picking up red cards in both his first two games.
He moved on to St Johnstone in the summer of 2009 and since then has made 139 starts and eight sub appearances, scoring 20 goals.
In November last year Davidson added his first senior Scotland cap to his single U21 appearance.

Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match AbandonedTown look set to face a return trip to Blackburn Rovers later in the season after this afternoon’s game was abandoned after 80 minutes due to a waterlogged pitch with the home side 1-0 up and with the Blues down to 10 men. Jacob Greaves was shown a straight red card four minutes after the break for hauling down Yuki Ohashi, then Rovers skipper Todd Cantwell netted a penalty on 59, but the heavy rain had made the game increasingly farcical the longer it progressed and in the 80th minute referee Stephen Martin took the players off and then 25 minutes later abandoned it entirely.
