Town Again Linked With Camp - Ipswich Town News

Town are again being linked with Northern Ireland international keeper Lee Camp. The 28-year-old held talks with the Blues in January but eventually joined Norwich City on a deal until the end of the season.

Blues boss Mick McCarthy is likely to be looking for at least one goalkeeper during the summer with Arran Lee-Barrett and Jason Brown having been released. Scott Loach is currently Town’s only senior glovesman.

Former Forest and Derby man Camp, who was also only offered a short-term deal by the Blues in January, has made only one start and two sub appearances since moving to Carrow Road, but has said he would consider staying on if extended terms were on offer.

Despite admitting he’d prefer to be playing more regularly, he said: "If circumstances are right and it ticked all the boxes it's something I'd look at.”
