Evans's Sponsorship Continues - Ipswich Town News
Town’s shirts will bear the name 'Marcus Evans' once again next season with the club’s owner extending his company’s sponsorship for a further season. The new home and away shirts upon which his logo will appear will be revealed later this week.
Joint-managing director Ian Milne told the club site that alternatives were explored but in the end the Blues’ owner decided to extend his previous five-year deal for an additional season: "Marcus’s initial shirt sponsorship agreement with the club was up at the end of 2012/13 but he had decided to extend that for another year.
"We did speak to a number of local and national companies regarding shirt sponsorship of Ipswich Town and there was interest.
"We could have pursued that further but Marcus is aware of the benefits of the sponsorship and is happy to continue with his name on the front of the shirts for next season.”
