Davidson Undecided on Future - Ipswich Town News

Reported Town target Murray Davidson says he’s yet to make a decision on where he will be playing his football next season. The 25-year-old has confirmed that he is leaving SPL St Johnstone with his contract up this summer.

Midfielder Davidson is understood to be interesting Aberdeen and Rangers but is thought likely to move to England with several Championship clubs including Town believed to be interested.

The former Livingston man, who has been capped once by Scotland, told the Daily Record that he’s currently weighing up his options: "I haven’t decided yet. I’ve been trying to put it to the back of my mind and let my agent deal with it.

"Had I started getting involved with that then my performances would have dropped. It’s a long summer and that will be sorted sooner rather than later.

"There are options north and south of the border. But there are also nine or 10 things you need to take into consideration when moving club. When I moved from Livingston to Saints there were a number of reasons why I came here.

"A lot of careful thought will be going into it again and hopefully I’ll make the right decision.”
