Capital One Cup Draw Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town will learn their first opponents of the season on Monday 17th June when the draw for the first round of the Capital One Cup takes place (9.30am).
The regionalised draw, which is seeded based on clubs’ 2012/13 league standings, will involve 70 Football League teams.
The two highest-placed sides dropping down from the Premier League receive byes through to round two in the case of Reading and round three for Wigan.
Round one ties will be played during the week commencing August 5th with Championship fixtures beginning on the preceding Saturday.
Town will find out their 2013/14 league fixtures on Wednesday 19th June when as usual they will be available on TWTD.
