Second St Mirren Midfielder Linked - Ipswich Town News
Town are eyeing out-of-contract St Mirren midfielder Paul McGowan, according to reports in the Scottish media.
McGowan, 25, started his career at Celtic and made three starts and five sub appearances for the Bhoys.
The Bellshill-born playmaker spent time on loan at Greenock Morton, Hamilton and St Mirren while at Parkhead and joined the Buddies on a full-time basis in July 2011.
In March he helped the Paisley side to win the Scottish League Cup by beating Hearts 3-2 in the final.
St Mirren boss Danny Lennon has previously dismissed reports linking the Blues with another of his midfielders, Kenny McLean.
