Capital One Cup Seedings - Ipswich Town News

The seedings for the first round of the Capital One Cup, which will be drawn at 9.30am next Monday, have been announced.

The draw is seeded based on the final league positions during the 2012/13 season and split on north-south basis. The two highest-placed sides dropping down from the Premier League receive byes through to round two in the case of Reading and round three for Wigan.

Town will play one of the unseeded southern sides home or away in a one-off tie the week commencing 5th August.

The 2013/14 league fixtures are released on Wednesday 19th June when as usual they will be available on TWTD.
