Charity Ball in Sir Bobby Robson Suite - Ipswich Town News

The Margaret Cumberland Memorial Masquerade Ball is being held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Portman Road on Friday 5th July to raise funds for The Woolverstone Wish Fund, which is based at the Oncology department at Ipswich Hospital.

The Woolverstone Wing houses the Chemotherapy Day Unit, the Radiotherapy department and Somersham Ward for acute cancer patients. Their facilities require refurbishment and an extension due to rising capacity and they need to raise £800,000 in total.

Welcome drinks will be served at 7pm in the Legends Suite, followed by a three-course dinner in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite. A professional photographer will be present, as well as a photobooth for fun.

Musical entertainment will come from young saxophone duo Tom Renshaw and Jack Shenton, as well as the Lovely Idreiss and Band 23X. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle.

Tickets are £45 per person and are available from Sarah Hills on 07971 394053, or via email here until Friday 21st June. The ball is on Twitter here.
