Ainsworth: A Few Clubs After Grant - Ipswich Town News
Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth says Town target Joel Grant is interesting a number of clubs with his Adams Park contract up at the end of the month. The Blues are understood to have offered the winger a deal.
Ainsworth says the 25-year-old is still considering his options: "He’s taking his time. There’s obviously a few clubs talking to Joel and we’ll see what happens.
"If he signs here, fantastic. If he moves to a higher club and a higher division then we’ve all got to be proud of what we did at Wycombe.
"If that happens, it’s up to us to replace him and get the best out of something else, that’s football, especially in the lower leagues. When Joel’s ready, he’ll let us know."
