Weekend Results Against Town - Ipswich Town News

The weekend results again didn't go in favour of Town with Southampton once more getting three points, beating Sunderland 2-0. On the upside Peter Reid's men are in the middle of a bad run and may themselves get dragged into trouble.

Derby County lost 1-0 to Everton, while former Town man James Scowcroft did his old club no favours by scoring a last minute equaliser as Leicester drew 2-2 with Leeds.

Town, still on nine points, are now four points behind Derby County, five behind Leicester, seven behind Southampton and ten behind Middlesbrough and Blackburn. Above them West Ham and Sunderland are on 20.
