Barnsley to Move for Target Broadfoot - Ipswich Town News
Barnsley are reportedly set to offer out-of-contract Blackpool defender Kirk Broadfoot a two-year contract. The Blues have been mentioned in connection with the Rangers man since March and are believed to have offered him terms.
While Blackpool are keen to keep hold of the 28-year-old right-back or centre-half, there has been no recent contact between the player and the club, according to reports in the North-West.
With Richard Stearman having returned to parent club Wolves at the end of the season, Town are in need of a right-back to compete with Elliott Hewitt — former Southend man Sean Clohessy was linked earlier today — and also cover at the centre of the defence.
