Nigeria Squad Reduced - Ipswich Town News
The Nigeria squad for the African Nations Cup has been reduced from 40 to 33, but Town midfielder Finidi George seems certain to win a place in the final squad.
The tournament begins on January 19th, with Nigeria having to reduce to a final squad of 22. Other UK-based players are Nwankwo Kanu and Celestine Babayaro.
Finidi will miss most of January and a lot of February whilst away with Nigeria.
