U18s in Friendly Action - Ipswich Town News

Town’s U18s are in action against Needham Market in a pre-season friendly at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

The squad includes most of this summer’s new intake of first-year scholars: goalkeepers Jacob Marsden (pictured) and Sam McDermid, midfielder Ed Ellis, Republic of Ireland U16 international striker Cemal Ramadan and defender or midfielder Matt Clarke, who has already played for Town's U21s.

Full-back Josh Emmanuel, left-back Amon Walton-Owen, who was previously with the Tottenham youth set-up where Bryan Klug worked until last summer, Northern Irish U16 international striker Johnny Smith and Republic of Ireland U16 international Shane McLoughlin.
