Carson Still at Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Josh Carson remains on trial at Bristol City and played an hour of an U21s friendly for the Robins today.
City's U21s lost 3-2 to a Reading U21 side in Berkshire. Ex-Town loanee Marlon Harewood was also in the team and scored.
Manager Mick McCarthy says the League One club are continuing to assess the Northern Irish international: "I think he’s playing in a game there today. I spoke to the guy who looks after him and he’s stayed down there.”
Speaking last week, the Town boss said he would be willing to allow Carson to leave if the Robins were interested in taking him.
McCarthy says he has received no interest in any of this other players: "None at all, although I wouldn’t tell you if I had anyway!”
