Reports this afternoon seem to confirm rumours circulating around Town claiming that Town defender Titus Bramble was arrested and spent a night in the cells last week.
Little appears to be known regarding the incident, although George Burley is making it clear that no charges have been made.
Burley, who has included Bramble in his squad for the game at Spurs at the weekend, said today: "I'm not aware of any players being charged or cautioned. Rumours and vicious gossip do nothing to help our quest to move away from the foot of the table. The priority for myself and my players is to concentrate solely on maintaining our Premiership status."
Suffolk Police refused to comment specifically, but confirmed that no charges had been made against any employee of Ipswich Town.
Bramble's brother, Tesfaye, was in trouble with the law over the summer, but charges relating to an incident outside Liquid were eventually dropped.
