Portman Road is set to stage its first concerts in four years next summer, TWTD has learned, with Barry Manilow amongst those in line to appear.
Veteran American singer-songwriter Manilow, 70, is touring next year, having already confirmed some US dates, and we understand Portman Road is one of the venues pencilled in for the UK leg.
P!nk’s 2010 concert was the last gig staged at Town, while REM, Rod Stewart, Status Quo, Neil Diamond and Elton John are amongst those to have previously played at Portman Road.
