Carson With Hibernian - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Josh Carson has spent the last few days training with SPL side Hibernian, according to reports in Scotland. Last week, manager Mick McCarthy revealed the Edinburgh club’s interest in the 20-year-old Northern Ireland international, who has previously spent time on trial at Bristol City and Notts County.
Speaking on Friday, McCarthy said: "He went to Notts County, he played in an U21 game for them, Hibs are interested in having a look at him, apparently. He is available to go from here.”
Meanwhile, one-time Town loanee Andros Townsend has been named in the full England squad for their World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine next month.
