Adekunle a Surprise Package - Ipswich Town News
Boss Mick McCarthy has hinted that 18-year-old recent signing Jordan Adekunle could be included on the first team bench sooner rather than later. The left winger joined last month on a one-year deal after coming through Crawley’s youth set-up.
McCarthy says he has impressed while working with the senior squad: "Jordan Adekunle has been training with us, but is he ready for the first team yet? I don’t know.
"He’s got something, so he might be a sub at some stage because he’s got a fair bit of pace and he’d be a surprise package, but I don’t think he’s ready for that yet.”
