New Turnstile Blues Fanzine - Ipswich Town News
The third issue of the Turnstile Blues fanzine is out ahead of Saturday’s home game against Middlesbrough.
The issue, which is subtitled ‘Children Of The Revolution’, has the Town academy, past, present and future as its theme.
It includes an interview with former Town player Adam Tanner, who talks candidly about his life at Ipswich, how his career ended at just 27 and the support he received from the club during the troubled times in his personal life.
Turnstile Blues costs £1 and will be available from sellers around Portman Road from about 2pm and in the Greyhound pub on Henley Road at lunchtime, where Turnstile Blues contributor Susan Gardiner will also be selling and signing copies of her new book, Ipswich Town: A History.
For those who can’t make it to the game, the fanzine will also be available to buy via download or mail order from www.turnstile-blues.co.uk from Monday.
Gavin Barber will be on Saturday’s Life’s a Pitch on BBC Radio Suffolk talking about Turnstile Blues and also the Supporters Trust’s recent move to have Portman Road listed as an Asset of Community Value.
