Town boss Mick McCarthy has named the expected unchanged side for this afternoon’s home game against Middlesbrough.
Keeper Dean Gerken makes his home debut, while centre-half Christophe Berra and midfielders Paul Anderson and Ryan Tunnicliffe make their first starts at Portman Road. Luke Chambers, at right-back, wears the captain’s armband.
Middlesbrough, who are managed by former Town captain and coach Tony Mowbray, include ex-Town skipper Grant Leadbitter in the centre of their midfield.
