Teams Wanted for Trust Karting Event - Ipswich Town News

The ITFC Charitable Trust is looking for a couple more teams of four to join them for the Wild Tracks Charity Karting Event on Friday. The teams will take part in a one-hour karting endurance race, a series of team-based timed races.

Amongst the companies who have already entered teams are Smart421, Prettys Solicitors in Ipswich, The White Lion, Aldeburgh, heating company Kennett, SEH French, Ipswich, the Half Moon in Mildenhall, the Black Tiles, Martlesham and Kesgrave Cars.

Each team will decide their own team strategy after they’ve completed their open practice/qualifying session, which gives team managers a chance to evaluate their team members and plan their race strategy.

Once underway, the race computer allows progress to be followed and teams can adjust their strategy accordingly. The event requires excellent strategic and communication skills.

Trophies will be awarded for the teams finishing first, second and third, while all races include three qualifying laps with trophies also awarded for first, second and third place for each team member too.

To book your team, contact Arabella Michell and mention it’s for the special ITFC Charitable Trust Charity Karting Event. Email arabella@wildtracksltd.co.uk or call WildTracks on 01638 751 918. The event costs £200 per team of four, which includes all races and a hog roast.

WildTracks, who have named the Trust as their Charity of the Year 2013, is at Activity Park, Chippenham Road, Kennett, Newmarket.
