U21s Face West Ham in Friendly - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U21s are in friendly action against West Ham at the Rush Green Stadium in Romford on Friday (KO 1pm).
On Friday, boss Mick McCarthy was expecting left-back Tyrone Mings to play in the match as he continues his recovery from the knee injury he suffered at Reading on the opening day of the season.
"He’ll play in [the U21s] game next week," he said. "He needs to train a bit more [before he’s ready for first-team consideration].
"But he looks great, he’s in great shape, his knee’s no problem, I’m delighted to have him back.”
Admittance at Rush Green costs £3 for adults and £1 for juniors.
