Town’s U21s were beaten 5-0 by West Ham in a behind closed doors friendly at Rush Green this afternoon. Elliot Lee netted four times for the home side and Pelly Ruddock once.

Tyrone Mings was the only member of the Blues' senior squad involved in the game as he continues his comeback from the knee injury he sustained on the opening day of the season.

Manager Mick McCarthy says the former Chippenham Town defender should be fit enough to be in the first-team squad for Tuesday's trip to Derby.
