Magilton Definitely Out - Ipswich Town News
Jim Magilton will definitely miss Saturday's game with Bolotn at the Reebok. Tests have shown that the Northern Ireland international has torn his groin. With Jermaine Wright also suffering with a groin problem it seems likely that Mickey Stockwell will play in midfield with Fabian Wilnis or Gary Croft playing at right wing back.
Manu Thetis is said to be recovering from his hamstring injury picked up during the reserve game with Gillingham last week. Also on the way back is Stuart Niven who has started jogging after his cruciate ligament operation. Niven is not expected to be available again this season, but with his contract up at the end of the season he must hope that he gets a chance to show he is worth at least another year at Portman Road. Niven made two first team appearences in 1996/97 but hasn't featured since.
George Burley has praise Richard Logan's performance in the reserves yesterday. Logan will be in the squad whicvh travels to Bolton on Friday.
