East Midlands Meet-Up to Watch Barnsley Match - Ipswich Town News
East Midlands-based TWTD posters are meeting up in Nottingham to watch Friday’s live Sky game against Barnsley (KO 7.45pm).
The venue is the Hemlock Stone & Dragon in Bramcote Lane, Wollaton, NG8 2QQ with all welcome to come along.
Beeston railway station is 2.7 miles away, there are no easy buses but a cab won’t be too expensive. It would take about 45 minutes on foot.
Derby and Loughborough both have trains into Beeston once per hour and returns until 11.20pm (Derby) and 11.15pm (Loughborough)
The main bus route from Nottingham to Derby runs along the A52 (Brian Clough Way). If you get off at the Toby Carvery/Shell Garage Island, the Hemlock Stone is less than 10 minutes' walk away.
Just walk along Wollaton Vale and you’ll stumble upon the Hemlock Stone & Dragon. This is probably the easiest route to use to get in and out of the city.
If you're planning to meet up with other Town fans somewhere else in the country or world to watch the game, post the location below.
