Milne at Supporters Club AGM on Wednesday - Ipswich Town News

Joint-MD Ian Milne will be at the ITFC Supporters Club’s AGM in Legends Bar on Wednesday evening (7.30pm). The AGM is a chance to put your questions to Milne, who took over the running of the club along with Jonathan Symonds in February.

All members of the Supporters Club are welcome — which includes all season ticket holders, Silver Club members, Junior Blues and Branch members - but evidence of membership must be provided at the door.

The Supporters Club’s second ITFC On the Road event of the season takes place at Ufford Park, Yarmouth Road, Melton, IP12 1QW on Tuesday 12th November (7pm for 7.30pm).

Milne, Simon Milton, first team players and other guests will attend the evening which will feature a quiz, plus a question and answer session, along with fundraising in aid of the academy.

Fans of all ages are welcome to this event with entrance free, but by ticket only as numbers are limited.

Town suffered their biggest home Championship loss since April 2018 as newly promoted Charlton Athletic netted three times in the second half to shock the Blues 3-0. The home side had been the better side in the first half, albeit with the visitors having two of the period’s three best chances, but the Blues fell apart in the second after Sonny Carey had given the Addicks the lead on 52 with Macaulay Gillesphey and Miles Leaburn adding goals on 55 and 64 to inflict the Town’s first Portman Road defeat of the season and their biggest Championship loss on their own turf since the 4-0 loss to Aston Villa more than seven years ago.
