O'Neill and Keane Sign Contracts - Ipswich Town News
The FAI have confirmed that Martin O’Neill and former Blues boss Roy Keane have put pen to paper on their contracts as the manager and assistant manager of the Republic of Ireland. The duo are understood to have agreed two-year initial deals.
"[The FAI] can confirm that both contracts have been signed. Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane will be Ireland's new manager and assistant manager,” a tweet announced.
Mick McCarthy had been tipped to return to the job he occupied between 1996 and 2002 but the FAI made no approach regarding the current Town manager.
