Smith Gutted to Miss Match - Ipswich Town News

Town defender Tommy Smith says he’s gutted to be missing today’s game at Blackpool due to his international commitments with New Zealand.

Smith, who is unable to play in the match and make the All Whites’ LA training camp before the deadline, tweeted: "Gutted to be missing the game today. Explored every avenue in order to be able to play but just couldn't make it happen. Rules are rules.

"I wish the lads all the best of luck though and well done to the fans that have made the long trip. Let's hope we get back to winning ways!”
