Fülöp to Resume Career - Ipswich Town News
Former Town keeper Márton Fülöp has been given the go ahead to resume his football career having undergone treatment to remove a malignant tumour on his arm.
In June, the 30-year-old, who was with the Blues for a year from August 2010, announced that he was taking a break while he recovered from the surgery.
The Hungarian international, whose most recent club was Greek side Asteras Tripoli, is already back in training and is aiming to be ready for a return to competitive action by the end of the year. He will have regular check-ups for the next five years.
Fülöp passed on his thanks to Town and supporters in a message to the club: "I would like to thank the ITFC fans and the club for their kind support which helped me stay in a positive frame of mind."
