Anderson Fit for Foxes Clash - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Paul Anderson is over his groin injury and says he’ll be available for selection when Town take on Leicester at Portman Road a week on Saturday, having missed the 3-2 win at Blackpool.
"The injury is okay now,” the 25-year-old told the club site. "I was trying to force myself back for the Blackpool game and trained a day earlier than I should have done and broke down.
"It’s been a niggly injury. It’s been not quite right and it was really annoying because I wanted to be involved at Blackpool.
"I’ve trained all week though and it’s been fine. I’ll definitely be okay for the Leicester game and hopefully I’ll be in the squad.”
The former Bristol City midfielder has gone the extra yard in the club’s Movember challenge by dyeing his moustache blue.
Town’s game against Leicester is a Kids for a Quid promotion. Full details on the club site.
