Right-back Kyle Hammond scored on his return from injury but Town’s U18s lost 2-1 to Leeds at their Thorp Arch training ground this morning.
The second-year scholar had been out of action for 12 weeks after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Eoghan Stokes and Frank Mulhern scored the goals for Leeds’ U18s, who are coached by ex-Blue Richard Naylor.
