Top Town Lots in Online Charity Auction - Ipswich Town News

A chance to watch the Blues squad train at Playford Road and then have lunch with manager Mick McCarthy and the players is just one of the Town-related prizes up for grabs in East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) Online Charity Auction which is taking place this week.

The auction, which is hosted at the-saleroom.com and finishes at 8pm on Sunday 24th November, is raising funds to support and care for children with life-limiting conditions throughout East Anglia.

The Ipswich Town Academy have offered two fantastic training sessions, for a group of 12 to 15-year-olds and a group of 16 to 18-year-olds to train with a qualified FA coach, meet Academy director Bryan Klug and enjoy a behind the scenes tour of Playford Road.

Another Town-related item is dinner for 10 at the White Lion in Aldeburgh in the company of legends John Wark and Simon Milton, kindly donated to the auction by Peter Osborne of the White Lion.

A signed Wayne Rooney shirt and an England cricket ODI squad signed shirt are also available, as well as several classic car and motor racing-related items and the chance for a 5 to 14-year-old to be the mascot at an Essex County Cricket Club 50-over home game in 2014.

Other lots include holiday breaks, designer jewellery and extraordinary experiences, many of which are based in our region. The full list can be found here while you can learn more about EACH here.
