Burley Pleased with Home Draw - Ipswich Town News
Town manager George Burley has welcomed the rarity of a home cup draw after Town were pulled out of the hat along with Manchester City yesterday. With both Town and City playing attacking football Burley is looking forward to an exciting game.
The Town boss said: "We have not had many home ties in the FA Cup in recent years so it is good that we have now drawn a team at Portman Road. Manchester City are flying at the moment, at the top of Division One and going well. Kevin Keegan has got them playing attacking football so it promises to be an entertaining cup tie. The FA Cup is a special competition and we will be looking to go through to the next round."
