U18s Lose to Charlton - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U18s lost 2-1 at home to Charlton at Playford Road this morning.
Gerard Nash’s side were 2-0 down at the break with first-year scholar Matt Clarke (pictured) pulling one back in the second half.
The Blues ended the match with 10 men after sub Amon Walton Owen was shown a straight red card for a reckless challenge. Meanwhile the U16s lost 3-0 to the Addicks.
Town's U21s, who are still looking for their first win of the season, are in action on Tuesday away against Brentford (KO 2pm).
U18s: Marsden, Emmanuel, Robinson, Sowunmi (Walton Owen), M Clarke, Galvin, Willbye, Lawrence, Bishop, G Clarke, (Berkane) Ramadan (Ellis). Unused: McDermid, Jones.
