Cresswell's Return Only Change - Ipswich Town News

Aaron Cresswell’s return at left-back in place of Tyrone Mings is Mick McCarthy’s only change as Town face Charlton at the Valley.

Mings drops to be bench alongside new loan signing Jordan Graham, while Paul Taylor misses out due to the shoulder injury suffered during last week’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester.

Luke Hyam is also absent with a stiff back and tweeted: "All the best to the lads today bring back three points and safe journey for the fans.”

Academy right-back Kyle Hammond and veteran striker Alan Lee made the trip but are left out of the 18.

Charlton include one-time Blues academy schoolboy and and ex-Bury Town keeper Nick Pope on the bench. Full match preview here.

Town: Gerken, Chambers, Berra, Smith, Cresswell, Anderson, Skuse, Tunnicliffe, Tabb, McGoldrick, Murphy. Subs: Loach, Edwards, Hunt, Wordsworth, Mings, Graham, Nouble.
