Club Say Thank You With Plaque - Ipswich Town News
Town are to place a plaque on the South Stand as a thank you to the Football Foundation for their financial assistance in the building of the stand. There will be a ceremony prior to Saturday's match with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), a supporter of the Foundation, provided Town with £1.82 million towards building the new stand. The FSIF was formed a year ago and has since given £30 million-plus to clubs for stand developments.
Former Labour MP Lord Pendry, the chairman of the charity, will be present at the ceremony along with chief executive, Peter Lee, head of administration, Susan O'Brien and David Sheepshanks.
