McCarthy Rings Changes - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Mick McCarthy has made four changes ahead of this evening’s home game against Blackburn Rovers.
Skipper Carlos Edwards comes in at right midfield, Luke Hyam into the centre, Stephen Hunt makes his full debut on the left and Frank Nouble joins David McGoldrick up front.
Paul Anderson, Ryan Tunnicliffe, Jay Tabb and Daryl Murphy all drop to the bench, while Paul Taylor again misses out due to his shoulder injury.
Blackburn include ex-Blue Jordan Rhodes and former loanee DJ Campbell up front from the start.
Town: Gerken, Chambers, Berra, Smith, Cresswell, Edwards, Hyam, Skuse, Hunt, McGoldrick, Nouble. Subs: Loach, Mings, Tunnicliffe, Tabb, Anderson, Graham, Murphy.
Blackburn: Kean, Kane, Dann, Hanley, Spurr, Cairney, Williamson, Lowe, King, Campbell, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kilgallon, Marshall, Rochina, Judge, Henley, Gestede.
