PLC AGM Tonight - Ipswich Town News

Joint-managing directors Ian Milne and Jonathan Symonds and manager Mick McCarthy are expected at tonight’s PLC AGM in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite (7.30pm).

The trio will answer questions from shareholders in the PLC, which owns 12.5% of Town and consists of the club's shareholding prior to the takeover six years ago. Marcus Evans owns the other 87.5%.

Amongst the resolutions to be put to the vote at the meeting - which is open only to shareholders or their proxies - will be the appointment to the PLC board of Milne and Symonds, former chief executive Simon Clegg and board member Martin Pitcher having resigned over the course of the last year.

Ex-club director Roger Finbow is the current PLC chairman, while Supporters Club chair Elizabeth Edwards, former club chairman John Kerr and one-time board members Philip Hope-Cobbold and Richard Moore are the other directors.
