Taylor and Anderson Doubts for Forest Trip - Ipswich Town News

Striker Paul Taylor is over his shoulder injury but is a doubt ahead of Saturday’s game at Nottingham Forest, due to illness. Former Forest man Paul Anderson is also unwell, but better news is that Cole Skuse is fine despite being subbed with an ankle injury during last week’s 2-1 victory over Huddersfield.

Manager Mick McCarthy says Taylor was due to return to training this morning: "His injury’s fine, he was going to train today but he’s got the winter vomiting bug, so he’s not in. We’ll see how he is.

"Paul Anderson was ill as well, I don’t think he was as bad, but he hasn’t trained today. They’re the only two. Cole Skuse trained today and he’s fine.”

Young right-back Elliott Hewitt remains on the sidelines with the ankle injury which curtailed his loan spell with Gillingham.
