McGreal Aims to Regain Place - Ipswich Town News
John McGreal, back from his ankle injury and in reserves scoring form, is looking to get back into first team action as soon as possible.
McGreal injured ankle ligaments during the game at White Hart Lane last month, but made a return to the reserves on Tuesday, scoring Town's goal in a 1-1 draw with West Ham.
McGreal says that although the side has done well without him he will be pushing to get back to the heart of the defence: "All I can do is put a little pressure on the boys who are in front of me me at the moment. If I'm selected then I'm fit and raring to go.
Also still hoping for a recall, despite his transfer request is Fabian Wilnis. The full-back says that while he awaits offers from other clubs he "will continue to fight to try to win my place back in the side."
