Blues striker Jack Marriott netted his ninth goal for Woking in his ninth game for the Skrill Premier side but couldn’t prevent them from falling to a 3-1 defeat at home to Salisbury this afternoon.
The 19-year-old put the Cards ahead in the 14th minute from former Cambridge striker Scott Rendell’s cross, but the Wiltshire club hit back in the 17th, 16th and final minutes.
Marriott tweeted: "Nice to score again but a very disappointing result, got to make it right on Saturday!”
Elsewhere, young left-back David October picked up a yellow card and played the full 90 minutes as his loan club Histon drew 0-0 at Boston.
