FA Cup Dreams - Ipswich Town News

Everyone, whether a fan, a manager or a player, dreams of lifting the FA Cup and a new initiative from The Football Association gives a glimpse of what it would be like if Town got their hands on the famous trophy once again.

In a bid to introduce a new generation of fans to the magic of the world’s oldest domestic football competition ahead of the Blues’ third round tie against Preston at Portman Road, The FA has released a short film showing a young Blues supporter dreaming of winning the FA Cup at Wembley.

The FA is also giving under-12s the opportunity to make their own FA Cup Dreams come true, with prizes offered throughout the season including the chance to have the FA Cup in your home overnight, to lift the trophy in front of your own club’s fans, walk out with the players at the FA Cup Final and even win a sleepover at Wembley the night before.

The initiative is being backed by FA Cup winner and former England striker Michael Owen, with families encouraged to enter via Facebook.
