Nigerians Draw - Ipswich Town News

Finidi George's Nigerians drew their final pre-African Nations' Cup friendly with the Ivory Coast in Bouake yesterday. Finidi played in the first half of the game as manager Shuaibu Amodu switched his entire side at half-time.

The Nigerians went behind in the first half when Traore scored for the home side. Benedict Akwuegbu scored the equaliser in the second half.

The coach waited until after the Ivory Coast game before announcing his squad and Nigeria now face a fine of $3,000 for declaring their final 22 late. There were few surprises in the squad, with only Eric Ejiofor Nigeria-based.
